This post is Day 6 for National Blog Posting Month on Blogher.
I am really excited about this review. I first saw the Pop Chef by Idea Village at my local Bed, Bath & Beyond when shopping for new pots and pans. It’s bright packaging immediately caught Orange’s attention. Of course she thought it was a toy though. It’s not. But it is very cool.
When I was contacted by FuelMyBlog.com to receive the product for free in exchange for a review, I jumped on the chance. We’ve since used this for a variety of things.
We made star shaped pear as a breakfast treat:
We created fun jelly sandwiches for preschool snack:
And we even surprised Princess Daddy with a spaced out pizza:
I can’t wait for melon season to have large slices of fruit to play with. It’s a little time consuming for every day use. But for a special surprise, it’s well worth the fun.
The pop feature works well. The cutters themselves aren’t very sharp (which made for tricky pepperoni trimming but otherwise, no problems yet.) Orange had a good time cutting the shapes since it wasn’t dangerous for her to handle. She didn’t quite get the concept behind the “pop” to release part. She is only 4 though. I had no issues at all.
I definitely recommend this fun addition to your kitchen collection.
