The Short Version
I’m an upper-twenty-something-year-old [mostly] stay-at-home mom of three bright and feisty daughters, Orange, born in 2009 and identical twins, Pink and Purple, born late in 2011. Our story begins nearly a decade ago when I fell in love with my best friend and high school sweetheart (Princess Daddy). Since then we’ve gone through a journey of job changes, college degrees, house buying and remodeling (and remodeling and remodeling again), infertility, miscarriages, a gender surprise pregnancy, raising a toddler, preschool life, a twin pregnancy, preterm labor, bedrest, NICU stays, premature birth, postpartum depression, promotions, working from home, twinfants and now double (triple) trouble (in the best possible way) of active kids.
My current job title is “Mom.” I wrangle kids, laundry, and meals by day and do freelance writing and blogging by night. I homeschool, hold an officer position on the PTC, volunteer with my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop, work part time at a doctor’s office, am a certified postpartum doula and trained labor doula and I regularly contribute to the Mumbling Mommy blog.
I have run a marathon. I am a reader. I like to crochet. My dream is to one day work as a certified lactation consultant. So that’s me in a nutshell. I’m pretty awesome.
Our story is magical. Our life is chaos.
